Overview/ Engage Workplace were asked to propose better furniture solutions and ideas to improve the general working environment, addressing issues such as lighting and acoustics.
Like many successful growing businesses, Cornish Gems have expanded organically ‘adding desks here and there’ as required but recognised the need to start afresh!

Design – Refurbishment – Furniture – Acoustics

It was clear that the Directors’ main focus was on the health and wellbeing of their staff and therefore they wanted to create a bright, colourful and motivating workplace. They also wanted to explore an acoustic solution that would add a fun element and would be aesthetically pleasing.

The brief also required the design of an open plan layout that could accommodate 25 people with the addition of a new enclosed partitioned office. This posed a challenge!
